Torro release
Under the title of the homonymous – and almost folkloric- number in Spanish from the Memphis bluesman, Rosco Gordon, recorded in 1957 for the legendary Sun Record Company, Sleazy Records offers a release produced by Cavalero himself alongside his lead guitar player, Al Dual -endorser of the Gretsch Musical Instruments Co. in Spain- containing 14 cuts in a subtle combination of classic rock’n’roll, country, rockabilly and blues, which make an album that could be tagged as conceptual, where this ‘Torro’ is nothing but the metaphor that defines several difficulties happened in the artist’s life.
